Scope

This policy describes privacy when visiting fallgatter.info and its product pages. The website and the apps presented there are separate services: the website measurement described here takes place in the browser, not in the apps. Privacy information for Gatterie is provided in the Gatterie app privacy policy. The former product addresses that redirect to fallgatter.info are also part of the website service.

Technical operation

When a website is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary data, in particular the IP address, time and requested file, in server logs. This supports secure and reliable operation and troubleshooting. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure operation of the websites. The hosting provider ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich acts as a processor. Data is deleted once it is no longer required for these purposes.

Shared privacy choice

So that you are not asked again on every subdomain, we store your choice in the necessary fg_privacy_choice cookie for the .fallgatter.info domain. It contains only the version of the consent dialog and your choice of “Allow analytics” or “Necessary only”. It remains valid for 180 days. Because of the shared domain, your browser technically also sends the cookie when other Fallgatter subdomains are accessed; the websites use it solely to apply your choice. The legal bases are Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to store your choice reliably and avoid repeated requests.

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4

Only after your explicit consent does fallgatter.info load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 on its pages. Without consent, no Google scripts are loaded and no measurement data is sent to Google. The provider for users in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; processing by Google LLC in the United States and other affiliated companies cannot be ruled out.

Optional analytics helps us understand which website pages and product links are used and which advertising campaigns bring visitors to us. With Google Analytics, we evaluate page views, selected product and language links, and clicks on TestFlight offers and App Store links. We use fixed campaign labels and the link to our Google Ads account to evaluate advertising results. An App Store click is a website event and does not prove a download or purchase. This measurement does not record activity inside the Gatterie app. Data that may be processed includes the domain and page path without arbitrary query parameters, sanitised referral information, language, approved campaign labels, time, browser and device information, random identifiers and the IP address technically required for the connection. Free text, account data, email addresses and arbitrary URL parameters are not passed to Analytics.

The legal bases are your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. Website measurement is used for statistical analysis, not personalised advertising or remarketing. Google signals, User-ID and sending user-provided data for enhanced conversions are disabled. With your consent, website events can be sent to our linked Google Ads account and attributed to ad clicks. On Gatterie pages, Google ad click identifiers (GCLID, WBRAID or GBRAID) are also processed for this purpose; cookies can support attribution on later visits. Without consent, this measurement does not take place. Analytics cookies use a separate prefix for each website and expire after no more than 90 days; their lifetime is not extended by subsequent visits. On subdomains they are restricted to the respective host. The browser may technically also send cookies from the main domain to subdomains, but their analytics configurations use separate prefixes and do not adopt those identifiers. Event data is retained by Google for two months.

Google may process data in third countries. According to Google, transfers to the United States rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where necessary, Standard Contractual Clauses. If you reach Gatterie through our Google search ad and consent to analytics, we add a fixed campaign label to the link when you open the App Store. Apple can use it to attribute installations to that campaign statistically. The label contains no personal information. We do not add it without analytics consent.

Change or withdraw consent

You can change your decision at any time with effect for the future. If you choose “Necessary only”, we remove accessible analytics and ad measurement cookies from these websites and no longer load Google. Data already transmitted to Google is not deleted retrospectively as a result. You can also delete website data in your browser.

If you contact us by email, your details are processed to handle your request and are then deleted unless statutory retention duties apply. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR.

Apps

Gatterie and Taskabar require no account for their core functions and contain no advertising, telemetry or analytics SDKs. Content and settings are processed on your device and are not transmitted to the developer. These statements concern the apps themselves. Consent to website analytics does not enable measurement inside these apps.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have in particular rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
